The International Journal of Studies in Social Sciences and Humanities (IJOSSH) is currently seeking experienced and dedicated editors and reviewers to join our editorial team. IJOSSH is a newly established international journal committed to publishing high-quality, interdisciplinary research that addresses global challenges and contributes to sustainable development and human wellbeing.

Roles and Responsibilities:

As an Editor or Reviewer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the journal's high standards and ensuring the quality and integrity of the published research. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Editors:

    • Overseeing the peer review process for submitted manuscripts.
    • Ensuring the academic rigor and relevance of the articles.
    • Providing constructive feedback to authors and guiding them through the revision process.
    • Collaborating with other editors and the editorial board to shape the journal's vision and direction.

  • Reviewers:

    • Conducting thorough and timely reviews of manuscripts within your area of expertise.
    • Providing objective and constructive feedback to authors.
    • Assessing the clarity, originality, and significance of the research.
    • Recommending acceptance, revision, or rejection of manuscripts based on their quality and relevance.

Qualifications:

We are looking for individuals who have:

  • A strong academic background and expertise in social sciences, humanities, or related interdisciplinary fields.
  • Experience in academic publishing, including prior roles as reviewers or editors, is highly desirable.
  • A commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and confidentiality in the review process.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and constructive feedback.
