PERANCANGAN MENU SEHAT DAN BERGIZI SEIMBANG DALAM “PIRING MAKANKU” DI RUMAH INSPIRASI DESA SUMBERSALAK KECAMATAN LEDOKOMBO KABUPATEN JEMBER

Abstract

Ledokombo is famous for its “Tanoker†which is a community learning that is currently developing in to an educational based tourism village. One of the great potential comes from children. As a result of migration, the majority of migrant worker’s children grow up without parental assistance. The absence of a mother can affect a child’s eating habits. In general, caregivers of children as long as mothers work as migrant workers tend to follow the wishes of children and leave it alone to choose their own food that they want to consume so that children’s nutritional adequacy becomes unbalance. “Rumah Inspirasi†in Sumbersalak Village facilitates child empowerment. The member of this community also parent or caregivers who support childreen activity. The devotion activity was aimed to increase knowledge about balanced nutrition and independence in designing a one meal menu in “Piring Makanku†so that children get the right nutrition as needed. The method used was counseling, discussion, demonstration, simulation and practice how to prepare menu. The results of this activities are that the partner’s independence in designing menus has been achieved
