Abstrak

PLTS is a solar electricity generator using solar panel. In the educational environment and boarding schools, electrical energy has an important role in the success of the teaching and learning process. PP. Nurussalam Ambulu Jember consumes large amounts of electricity to support their learning activities. The effort made to save electricity is by utilizing information technology-based solar energy to form the Pondok Mandiri Energi (POMAGI). Solar module installation has been carried out using a 25 Watt LED lamp in PP. Nurussalam Ambulu Jember. This solar module installation is able to save electricity costs and can produce 23.25 kWh of independent electricity for 4 weeks that can be monitored via a smartphone.
