Abstract

School Health Programpopularly known as TriasUKS  is part of health education, health service and the management of healthy school environment which becomes important features of realizing healthy and smart students. The guidance and development ofSchool Health Programis an integrated efforts of education and health, well-directed and responsibleto nurture, grow and implement the principles of healthy living in everyday life. However, the implementation of UKS programs is so far beyond expectation. Most of health program activities are conducted in the form of teaching with inadequate practice for regular needs. As matter of fact,  health service conducted to students should be promotive, preventive, Curative and rehabilitative. Whereas, at school, the implementation of healthy school environment are mostly in the form of physical, mental and social environment. Moreover, coordinated program implementation has not yet been well established among the UKS Development Team. Thus, the empowerment of UKS Advisory Team and the Implementation Teamis desperately needed to ensure the UKS programs are well-implemented.
