Penggunaan Conductivity Meter untuk Pengembangan Pengujian Vigor Benih Orthodok dan Rekalsitran dalam Rangka Mendukung Kegiatan Praktikum
Abstract
The research was conducted from July to December 2017, the research was conducted at the Laboratory of Seed Technology of State Polytechnic of Jember. The research is to get the correct DHL test method as vigor test parameter on orthodox and recalcitrant seeds. The treatment used was the volume of distilled water (100, 150, 200, and 250 ml) and soaking time (6,12, 18 and 24 hours) on chili, rice, coffee and cocoa seeds. The data obtained were analyzed by comparison of the graph model. The test results showed maximum DHL potential value for chili seeds in combination of 100 ml distilled water treatment with 18 hours of soaking time, DHL value of 86.59 μS / cm, rice seed in combination of 250 ml distilled water with 6 hours of soaking time, 16.32 μS / cm value, coffee seed in combination of 100 ml distilled water with a long immersion of 12 hours, value 15.69 μS / cm, and cocoa seeds in a 100 ml distilled water combination with 18 hours of soaking duration, 136.68 μS / cm.
