Efektifitas Penggunaan Peralatan Pemadat Baglog Sistem Hidrolik dan Cara Konvensional pada Produksi Jamur Tiram Putih (Pleurotus Ostreatus)
Abstract
This research aims to (1) Knowing effectiveness of the use hydraulic baglog compactor equipment in the production of white oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus), (2) Knowing effectiveness of the use Conventional baglog compactor equipment in the production of white oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) and (3) Effectiveness of the difference between the use of baglog equipment hydraulic compactor equipment compared with conventional way in production of white oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus).The method of the research used population 500 baglog with the sample 50 baglog on each tool. The data observation of time effectiveness, the hardness degree of media and mycelium growth were obtained from the total sample. Based on the result of data analysis. Therefore, it was implemented used graph model. Based on data analysis can be concluded that the most effective way is the use hidraulic baglog compactor aquipment to the time, so 58,6 seconds/baglog, the hardness degree of the baglog is 50,8 (mm devision) and the degree of mycelium growth is 5,80 cm/week in white oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus).This research has some recommendation about the use hidraulic baglog compactor equipment : 1) The equipment on student teaching activities State Polytechnic Jember; 2.) Equipment on the research activities of students, laboratory of educational institution and lectur State Polytechnic Jember; 3) equipment in the cottage industry of perpetrators of small and medium enterprises.
