Membandingkan Pembibitan Model Knock Down Menggunakan Media Tanam Potry dan Cara Konvensional Terhadap Pertumbuhan Bibit Tembakau Kasturi Voor Oogst (Nicotiana tabacum)
Abstract
This study aims: (1) Comparing the height of the seed knock down model and conventional way; (2) Comparing the diameter of the seed knock down model and conventional way; (3) Compare the number of leaves knock down model and conventional way. Samples were obtained at random which represented from both seedling method tobacco Kasturi Voor Oogst (Nicotiana tabacum). Samples were taken 4 seeds per potray, so the samples were determined as many as 32 samples were observed when the seedlings were ready to be planted. Further the result was compared to the observation parameter using Grafic Method. The research results showed; (1) Knock down system breed is best against the height of the seed with mean of 2.52 mm; (2) Knock down system breeding is best against the height of the seed with a mean of 2.52 mm. (3) Knock down system breeding is best against the growth of leaf number with mean of 2.52 mm. This research has result of recommendation that knock down system good for activity: Student Practicum, Student research, Laboratory of Education and Lecturer of State Polytechnic Jember, and community service devotion.
