Abstract

In general, maternal health continues to face serious challenges, as reflected in the high rates of maternal and infant mortality and the prevalence of low birth weight. One of the challenges is the low coverage of preconception screening, which currently reaches only 18.7%, while the existing screening system remains predominantly manual and lacks integration. This study proposes the INDIVIDUA Android application as a solution to improve the quality of preconception screening through an evidence-based personalization approach. The methods employed include the Behavior Change Wheel (BCW) to design user behavior change interventions and Scrum to facilitate the iterative development of the application. Usability testing was conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) to evaluate the application's ease of use. The results showed that the application achieved a SUS score of 77.8, which falls within the Good and Acceptable categories. The application is expected to improve the quality of preconception screening, support screening management, and enhance the efficiency of healthcare services. Therefore, the INDIVIDUA application has the potential for broader implementation to support improvements in the preconception screening system and contribute positively to maternal and infant health.
