Pengaruh Faktor Karakteristik Petugas Terhadap Penurunan Penderita Tuberkulosis di Puskesmas Kabupaten Lumajang Tahun 2012
Abstract
The prevalence of TB patients in Lumajang increased by 25.06 per 100.000 population from 2007 to 2011. Increased prevalence of TB patients in Lumajang showed that the number of TB patients and the more so the higher the morbidity level of public health in the lower Lumajang. Therefore need for an effort to reduce the number of TB patients in Lumajang. The objective of this study was to arrange efforts in decreasing the number of TB patients based on the results of analysis on staff characteristic factor in Lumajang Regency. This is an analytical observational study, conducted by analyzing the staff characteristic factor, namely the length of work and the perception of staff. This study took place in selected Public Health Centers in the area of Lumajang Regency Health Office. The study was conducted from February to March 2012. The population of this study was 25 Public Health Centers in Lumajang Regency and the sample was 21 selected Public Health Centers by using proportional stratified random sampling technique. The data was analyzed using computer software. Then, a multiple regression analysis was done. The result of this analysis became the strategic issue. A Focus Group Discussion involving Public Health Centers and the Regency Heath Office was then held, aiming at formulating the efforts in decreasing the number of TB patients based on the results of analysis on staff characteristic factor in Lumajang Regency.    Â
