Pelatihan Bahasa Inggris Bagi Karang Taruna Di Desa Wisata Lombok Kulon Bondowoso

Abstract

English training for youth communities (Karang Taruna) in Lombok kulon tourism village is a community service activity conducted by the team of Politeknik Negeri Jember. The devotional activities are carried out using three phases that cover the preparation, implementation and evaluation phase. In the preparation phase, consist of analyze the situation, condition, and problem faced by partners. In the implementation phase, English training is specially designed focused on English for Specific Purposes (ESP) with cooperative learning method (Cooperative Learning). In the evaluation phase, an analysis of the success of the program implementation is conducted. The end result of this activity is the increase in speaking skills of the trainees. For the sustainability of this activity, it is expected that there will be concern from several parties to conduct similar activities.
