Peer Review Process

J-Beam's review process involves authors, editors, and reviewers. Each submitted manuscript is first reviewed by an editor. If the article meets the focus and scope and J-Beam writing guidelines, it is forwarded to reviewers to evaluate the content and novelty of the manuscript. Otherwise, the manuscript is returned to the author. Reviewers will review each manuscript for approximately 1–2 weeks, using the assessment criteria outlined in the Article Reviewer Assessment Form. During the pre-review phase, editors can provide comments and request revisions to ensure compliance with J-Beam standards. If authors do not submit revisions within 4 weeks, the article will be rejected. On average, accepted articles take approximately 8 weeks from submission to publication.
