Abstract

Abstract— Poverty is one of the factors that underlies a person to commit a crime because basically living with all limitations and deficiencies will make it difficult to meet basic needs such as clothing, food and shelter so that to meet these needs a person is forced to justify any means including committing a crime. To face this challenge, a crime information system is needed that can collect, analyze, and utilize crime data effectively. This study uses a descriptive method that describes the existing problems and collects data in accordance with the actual. This Crime Information System manages to collect, store, and analyze crime data from various sources, such as police reports, victim information, and up-to-date crime data.
