Duties of Editors

Publication Decisions
The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for deciding which submitted manuscripts should be published, based on originality, significance, clarity, and relevance to the journal’s scope. Decisions are made in consultation with reviewers and members of the editorial board.

Fair Evaluation
Manuscripts are evaluated solely on their academic merit without discrimination regarding race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy.

Confidentiality
Editors and editorial staff must not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, and editorial advisors.

Conflict of Interest
Editors must not use unpublished materials disclosed in a submitted manuscript for their own research without the author’s explicit written consent.

Duties of Reviewers

Contribution to Editorial Decisions
Reviewers assist editors by providing objective, constructive, and timely evaluations of manuscripts.

Confidentiality
All manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents.

Objectivity
Reviews should be conducted objectively and supported by clear arguments. Personal criticism of the author is inappropriate.

Conflict of Interest
Reviewers must not evaluate manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest.

Duties of Authors

Reporting Standards
Authors must present accurate, original, and objective research findings.

Originality and Plagiarism
Authors must ensure their work is entirely original. Any use of others’ work must be properly cited.

Multiple Submissions
Simultaneous submission of the same manuscript to multiple journals is prohibited.

Authors must promptly notify the journal of significant errors and cooperate in corrections or retractions.

Peer Review Process

TEFA Journal applies a rigorous double-blind peer-review process. Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers. The review process ensures objectivity, confidentiality, and academic integrity.

Publication Misconduct Handling

In cases of suspected or confirmed misconduct, including but not limited to plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, duplicate submission, citation manipulation, or other unethical research practices, TEFA Journal will take appropriate actions in accordance with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

These actions may include:

  • Immediate rejection of the manuscript
  • Retraction of published articles
  • Notification to the authors' affiliated institutions
  • Temporary or permanent ban on future submissions

All allegations of misconduct will be investigated thoroughly and handled with fairness, transparency, and confidentiality. The journal follows COPE flowcharts and established guidelines in handling all cases of suspected or confirmed misconduct to ensure integrity in scholarly publishing.
