Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word (docx).
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

General information

  1. Manuscripts must be authentic, not a plagiarism manuscript from the previous research articles, have never been published previously in any scientific publisher, are not being submitted and will not be submitted for any other publishers during the review process, unless the author has officially withdrawn the manuscript from the Jurnal Ilmu Peternakan Terapan. The statement must be stated in the author declaration form. The similarity check of the Jurnal Ilmu Peternakan Terapan is not more than 25% to prevent plagiarism allegations in the manuscript.
  2. The manuscript sent is a scientific research topic that does not conflict with the research bioethics.
  3. The Jurnal Ilmu Peternakan Terapan is a journal of scientific research related to applied science and technology in the field of animal sciences, including: animal production, animal reproduction and physiology, nutrition and feed technology, forage, animal health, socio-economics, animal product technology, and animal industry.
  4. The Jurnal Ilmu Peternakan Terapan is published regularly twice a year on March and October.

Manuscript Format

  1. The manuscript is written in Indonesian or English and uses standard scientific language.
  2. The submission manuscripts must be prepared in Microsoft Word format (docx), for graphics using Microsoft Excel, and images using JPEG / JPG format.
  3. Manuscripts must be typed in Cambira font with font size 12.
  4. Manuscripts must be typed in double spaces, except for the title, table, graphic / image titles, and single-spaced typed attachments.
  5. The manuscript is made on A4 paper size, the margins on the four sides are 3 cm, the number of pages is 12-20, uses line and page numbers.
  6. Tables, graphics, and pictures are not placed after the bibliography in the manuscript.
  7. Manuscripts content should be arranged as the following order: Title, Abstrak (Abstract in Indonesia), Abstract, Introduction, Material and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusions, Acknowledgments (if any), and References.
  8. The manuscript and author declaration form must be sent electronically via the following page: http://publikasi.polije.ac.id/index.php/jipt.

Authors submitting manuscripts should understand and agree that copyright of manuscripts of the article shall be assigned/transferred to Jurnal Ilmu Peternakan Terapan. The statement to release the copyright to Jurnal Ilmu Peternakan Terapan is stated in Author Declaration Form. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International Public License (CC BY-SA) where Authors and Readers can copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format, as well as remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, but they must give appropriate credit (cite to the article or content), provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you must distribute your contributions under the same license as the original.
