Abstract

Dillem Wilis is an agrotourism area within TTP (Agricultural Technology Park) and STP (Science Techno Park), focusing on plantation management, coffee farming, and dairy cattle raising under the auspices of the Trenggalek Regency Department of Agriculture and Food. One potential that can be developed in this area is coffee farming, which has been established since 1926. The strategic location of agriculture on the slopes of Mount Wilis, however, does not automatically support the relatively conventional agricultural practices, making it less supportive of the region's potential. Therefore, collaboration in technological innovation needs to be undertaken to improve the efficiency of production costs. This aligns with research on the linear relationship between production costs and the quality and quantity of harvest yields. Therefore, the proposed solution is an automated irrigation and fertilization system utilizing IoT-integrated smart farming based on the ESP32 microcontroller. Thru the use of this system, agricultural conditions can be reviewed in real-time, land status data can be obtained, and irrigation and fertilization processes can be controlled digitally and efficiently. As a result, agriculture is able to optimize water usage more efficiently than conventional methods. The implementation of this ESP32-based IoT technology has proven effective in supporting smart agriculture.
