Nematoda entomopatogen merupakan salah satu jenis agens pengendali hayati yang bisa digunakan untuk S. frugiperda. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui potensi dari nematoda entomopatogen dalam mengendalikan hama S. frugiperda. Tahapan penelitian ini yaitu eksplorasi nematoda entomopatogen di beberapa wilayah di Jawa Timur, identifikasi nematoda entomopatogen secara morfologi, perhitungan populasi, dan perbanyakan secara in vivo. Penelitian dirancang dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri atas 6 perlakuan yaitu 1000 JI mL-1, 800 JI mL-1, 600 JI mL-1, 400 JI mL-1, 200 JI mL-1, dan kontrol. Setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 4 kali dan setiap ulangan terdiri 10 ekor larva instar 3. Hasil pengamatan setelah 120 jam, untuk inokulasi 600 JI mL-1 Steinernema sp. isolat (StJm) Kediri dapat menyebabkan mortalitas 97,5%. Mortalitas larva S. frugiperda akibat perlakuan Steinernema sp. isolat (StJm) Kediri tertinggi sebesar 100% pada perlakuan P5 1000 JI mL-1 pada pengamatan 120 jam dibandingkan perlakuan lain. Nilai LC50 dari Steinernema sp. isolat (StJm) Kediri sebesar 434,63 JI mL-1. Nilai LT50 dari Steinernema sp. isolat (StJm) Kediri paling rendah pada perlakuan P5 sebesar 1000 JI mL-1 yaitu 36,35 jam. Laju infeksi tertinggi bernilai 1,6% dari P5 sebesar 1000 JI mL-1 yaitu 16 ekor pada waktu pengamatan 12 Jam pasca inokulasi.Downloads
