Jurnal Ilmu Peternakan Terapan (JIPT) is a scientific journal owned and published by Politeknik Negeri Jember, Indonesia, and managed by the Department of Animal Science. The journal publishes original research articles and review articles covering applied animal science and livestock-related technologies.

The journal's management is responsible for coordinating editorial activities, maintaining publication quality, facilitating the peer-review process, and ensuring that published articles meet appropriate academic and ethical standards. The journal's scope includes animal production; animal reproduction and physiology; feed nutrition and technology; forage; animal health; animal socio-economics; animal products technology; and the livestock industry. Studies involving farm animals and relevant Indonesian endemic animal species may be considered when they are consistent with the journal's focus and publication requirements.
