Electronic Filing
Electronic Submission System
Jurnal Ilmu Peternakan Terapan (JIPT) uses an electronic journal management system to receive and process manuscripts, communicate with authors, coordinate peer review, manage revisions, and prepare accepted articles for publication. Authors must submit manuscripts through the official electronic submission system indicated on the journal website.
The journal's ISSN registration record identifies the journal website as http://publikasi.polije.ac.id/index.php/jipt. Authors should use the journal's currently active submission portal and follow the latest instructions provided by the editorial office.
Submission Preparation
Before submission, authors must ensure that the manuscript is complete, clearly written, scientifically sound, and within the journal's focus and scope. The manuscript must comply with the current author guidelines, including requirements for structure, references, tables, figures, and supporting declarations.
Depending on the nature of the study, authors may be required to provide supporting documents, including:
- The complete manuscript file and any required separate figure or supplementary files.
- Author names, affiliations, corresponding-author details, and contribution statements.
- Funding and competing-interest declarations.
- Statements concerning originality and exclusive submission.
- Research ethics approval or relevant documentation when applicable.
- Permissions for reproduced copyrighted material, where required.
- Data availability statements or other supplementary information requested by the journal.
Author Declarations
By submitting a manuscript, the corresponding author confirms that the information supplied is accurate and that all listed authors have approved the submission. The authors must disclose relevant prior dissemination, overlapping publications, related manuscripts, or other circumstances that could affect the assessment of originality.
A manuscript must not be submitted simultaneously to another journal. If a manuscript has been submitted elsewhere previously, the authors must ensure that the previous submission has been formally withdrawn or otherwise resolved before submitting it to JIPT.
Initial Editorial Screening
Submissions may be screened for relevance to the journal's scope, completeness, adherence to author guidelines, originality, ethical compliance, and basic scientific quality. The editorial team may return a manuscript for technical correction, request missing documentation, send it for further assessment, or decline it before peer review if it does not meet the journal's requirements.
Technical completeness does not guarantee that a manuscript will proceed to peer review or be accepted for publication. Editorial screening and subsequent review are conducted according to the journal's applicable procedures.
Review, Revision, and Correspondence
Authors must monitor the submission system and the email address registered with the journal for editorial decisions, reviewer comments, requests for clarification, and revision deadlines. When revision is requested, authors should submit a revised manuscript and a clear point-by-point response explaining how each reviewer comment has been addressed.
If an author disagrees with a reviewer comment, the response should provide a reasoned scientific explanation. Revised files must be submitted through the designated system unless the editorial office gives alternative instructions. Authors should not submit a substantially different manuscript as a revision without explaining the changes.
File Integrity and Security
Authors are responsible for ensuring that uploaded files are readable, complete, and free from malware or corrupted content. Data, figures, tables, and supplementary materials must correspond to the submitted manuscript. Authors should retain copies of the original submission, revised files, research records, and supporting documentation.
Withdrawal and Editorial Communication
Authors who wish to withdraw a manuscript must submit a written request to the editorial office explaining the reason for withdrawal. Withdrawal should be confirmed by the journal before the manuscript is submitted elsewhere. Withdrawal requests do not remove the authors' responsibility to address credible concerns about research integrity or ethical compliance.
All communications with the editorial office must be professional and accurate. Any technical difficulty with the submission system should be reported through the official contact channels provided on the journal website.
Confidentiality and Data Protection
Information received through the submission system will be used for legitimate editorial and publication purposes. Editors, reviewers, and journal personnel must handle unpublished manuscripts, personal information, and confidential research materials responsibly and must not disclose them to unauthorized parties.
