Training And Counseling On Making Organic Herbal Medicine Monascho Bar Soap For PKK Womens In The Residential Environment Of Kaliwates District, Jember

This community service activity aims to improve the abilities and skills of PKK mothers in the residential area of Kaliwates District, Jember Regency. Training is an effort to enhance human resources to become more productive. The main target of this activity is housewives who are not employed, so they can increase family income by making bar soap from Monascho herbal medicine as a beauty soap. Monascho herbal medicine is derived from the fermentation of rice with the mold Monascus purpureus. One of the main benefits of this herbal medicine is cell regeneration; however, Monascho herbal medicine has not been optimally utilized. Soap can be used as a body cleansing product for daily use, and with the trend of not only cleansing but also caring for the skin, diversification can meet the needs of women. The methods used include providing basic material on the ingredients and tools used in soap making. Furthermore, PKK mothers can practice it so they can improve their ability to make organic Monascho herbal bar soap.
