Strategi pengembangan bisnis bibit porang Jember

Tanaman porang memiliki nilai ekonomis yang tinggi dan merupakan komoditas ekspor unggulan, ketersediaan benih yang terbatas menjadi kendala. Hingga saat ini, masih ada satu varietas yang dilepas oleh pemerintah, sehingga tidak semua permintaan bibit porang dapat dipenuhi. Penelitian ini menggabungkan penelitian eksplorasi, deskriptif, dan penjelasan. Hal ini dilakukan untuk memperoleh informasi mendalam tentang pembobotan dan pemeringkatan serta menyiapkan beberapa alternatif strategi pengembangan bisnis yang dapat diimplementasikan melalui kajian teori dan penelitian sebelumnya sebelum melanjutkan penelitian deskriptif. Metode analisis data yang digunakan untuk mengetahui alternatif strategi pengembangan bisnis adalah matriks SWOT. Lima alternatif strategi dapat direkomendasikan untuk mengembangkan bisnis benih porang di Indobreed Agro Nusantara. Kekuatan utama industri adalah formula teknis, sedangkan kelemahan sektor ini adalah pengadaan benih porang. Peluang utama adalah peningkatan permintaan, sedangkan ancaman dari industri adalah peraturan pemerintah tentang distribusi produk porang. Penelitian ini memperoleh beberapa alternatif strategi yang dapat direkomendasikan untuk diimplementasikan untuk mengembangkan usaha benih porang di Indobreed Agro Nusantara. Yakni, modal usaha dapat ditambah dengan menerapkan pinjaman usaha masyarakat kepada bank. Kapasitas produksi tambahan. Memodifikasi bentuk luar produk menjadi tepung porang mengikuti tingkat monopoli industri produk porang yang ada.
